Health & Safety, Liability, Insurances
Helen Storer Photography will always endeavour to act in your best interests.
Helen Storer Photography does not accept liability for any loss of camera equipment, personal possessions, valuables, bodily injury, illness, accidents, injuries, carelessness, negligence, lack of fitness, punctuality or death unless it arises from my negligence during my workshops.
Whilst every effort is made to ensure your safety and well-being, workshops may and frequently do involve travel in remote locations during the day & night where medical, refreshment, toilet facilities are not readily accessible and/or available. All bookings are accepted on the basis and understanding that you appreciate any potential risks and hazards. All customers are responsible for ensuring they have the correct insurances in place.
Unfortunately, Helen Storer Photography is unable to control the weather. Regardless of conditions, we will stay out as long as it is completely safe to do so. If the weather on the date of a night sky workshop is to be 70% or more cloud cover then we may need to be flexible to allow the day before or after the workshop date. If they are not suitable then the workshop will be rescheduled for another week. If this workshop date is the only date that suits you, then we can still continue the workshop under cloud cover, and I guarantee that you will still come away with fantastic images, the knowledge and the ability to shoot beautiful night sky images – this is completely up to the student to decide.
